What is Anxiety?

​

Anxiety is a stress response which takes place in the body caused by fear, which triggers the fight or flight response. Whether you are experiencing low levels of persistant anxiety or panic attacks, left untreated anxiety can become chronic and lead to other health issues such as depression, low self-worth and lack of motivation.

What causes anxiety?

​

The causes of anxiety vary greatly for each indiviudal, however common causes can be environmental stresses (particular triggers such as social situations e.t.c) chemical changes in the brain, and autonomic nervous system imbalances within the body.

​

Using hypnotherapeutic techniques we bring balance back to the body and mind in a relaxing, safe environment, focusing on solutions straight away and resolving specific anxieties.
