What is Anxiety?

Anxiety is a stress response which takes place in the body caused by fear, which triggers the fight or flight response. This can be related to situations in the present, or linked to past trauma.
Whether you are experiencing low levels of persistant anxiety or panic attacks, left untreated anxiety can become chronic and lead to other health issues such as depression, low self-worth, lack of motivation and chronic pain issues.
